Title FACTORS AFFECTING WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN J&K (INDIA)
   
Abstract Entrepreneurship is a multidimensional task and essentially a creativeactivity. Today entrepreneurial classes of women are playing an importantrole in various sectors of industrial growth and economic development.But, in the process of entrepreneurship, women have to face many social,psychological and financial barriers like shortage of equity finance andworking capital, lack of infrastructure facilities, training programmesetc. Therefore, this study is undertaken with the aim to develop guidelines on thebasis of problems faced by women entrepreneurs. Three hundred womenentrepreneurs from Akhnoor tehsil of Jammu district, running boutiques,beauty parlors, carpet making units and general stores, were contactedfor data collection.
